Newhaven Covid 19 Mutual Aid is a growing group of community volunteers living in Newhaven, Denton, South Heighten & Mount Pleasant.

We help those in need during the COVID-19 crisis by picking up prescriptions, collecting & delivering essentials,  walking dogs or being there for a friendly chat.

The volunteers have been out delivering Viral Kindness Leaflets to ensure everyone can access support during this time.  

We are now requesting any small donation that will go towards the community food hub at Newhaven baptist church as well as towards funding PPE material like antibacterial gels and cleaning products so our volunteers will be able to do their job safely. 

Any funding that doesn't get used by the end of this pandemic will be distributed and donated to local food banks.  

If possible we would also like to use some of the funds to celebrate the community of Newhaven and have a post COVID-19 street party. 
The volunteers are all people local to Newhaven and it will mean so much to the whole community if we can support the local food and essential equipment hubs throughout this time.

We are recognised by Newhaven Town Council,  and Lewes District Council as the community volunteering group for Newhaven  and surroundings covering up to Tudor Rose caravan Park and up to Bishopstone.
